Cause: Plastic Pollution (Up-cycling Ocean Plastic to 3D printing filaments)

The beginning: I did not know how to swim?, I had never sailed before (well I had never stepped on a yacht before) and I did not know if I get sea sick! Perfect to sign up for a Ocean Race and I signed up for Leg 1 (London to Rio de Janeiro) of the Clipper Round the World Race 2015-2016.

Loads of training involved pre race, like RYA Level 1/2; RYA Competent Crew, RYA Sea Survival, RYA Day Skipper, RYA VHF License etc. and I made it. Oh yeah, and a little swimming too 😉 Key is to be Clipper On all the time to the boat! Thought, if I fall overboard, where will I swim to? Africa across the Atlantic? Maybe not!
