Cause: Plastic Pollution in the river Thames

Status: Complete
I have now cycled “ON” the whole length of the mighty river Thames from Lechlade, Gloucestershire to Teddington; collecting plastic litter on the way to highlight and generate awareness about plastic pollution. Everyone was curious when they saw me on a Road Bike ON the River and wanted to have a chat; which meant I could tell them 1:1 what I was doing and urge them to start thinking about ways to reduce plastic. I have also taken geotagged pictures of plastic litter along the route to come up with this Thames Litter Discovery map containing Geotagged imaged of plastic litter concentration.
To complete the journey through the tidal Thames, I have also paddled down the river Thames through Central London to Tower Bridge on SUP Boards, collecting plastic litter.
